I dont think you realise how many people play these games and how many of these boxes are opened, to the point where 1 in 180,000 isnt impossible.

Its statistics and there will always be random errors, or in this case completely plausible ones.

As I always go for three I've noticed that more often than not the 3 is repeated in the same box over and over again. Mostly 3 times in a row but I have had 4,5,6 and even 7. I think this method of choosing the same box the 3 is in repeatedly works best for me ... aliens or not :)

In my game, the set of 3 will always be in the same position 3 times in a row before it moves. This pattern persists through logins. Been like that since chritmas.

I feel like it has a percentage of the box you're least likely to pick after each pick.

Who's to say that they aren't ALL the same number?
IOW no matter which one you tap first, it will show what all 3 are.

I'm fairly sure there's a pattern, but I'm even more certain that it's not worth the bother of figuring out for sure whether there is. (I'm reminded of Springfield Downs here.) Even if you could identify a pattern, you'd then have the problem of figuring out where you are in the series, leaving you in more or less the same place as if the sequence were entirely random.
