CONSIDER ALSO THIS: of the six numbers listed above,
THAT NUMBER IS DETERMINED BEFORE YOU SELECT ANY BOX. So your choice of box is irrelevant. The GUI of selecting boxes is irrelevant. If the number 213 was the number then any box you choose will have 2, and whichever you choose next will have one.
Are we sure about this one? Sounds like conspiracy to me.
We already determined that it was aliens- I dont think you realise how many people play these games and how many of these boxes are opened, to the point where 1 in 180,000 isnt impossible.
Its statistics and there will always be random errors, or in this case completely plausible ones.
Please stop with these threads. - As I always go for three I've noticed that more often than not the 3 is repeated in the same box over and over again. Mostly 3 times in a row but I have had 4,5,6 and even 7. I think this method of choosing the same box the 3 is in repeatedly works best for me ... aliens or not :)
- Wikipedia:
The clustering illusion is the tendency to erroneously consider the inevitable “streaks” or “clusters” arising in small samples from random distributions to be non-random. The illusion is caused by a human tendency to underpredict the amount of variability likely to appear in a small sample of random or semi-random data.
Thomas Gilovich, an early author on the subject, argued that the effect occurs for different types of random dispersions, including two-dimensional data such as clusters in the locations of impact of World War II V-1 flying bombs on maps of London; or seeing patterns in stock market price fluctuations over time. Although Londoners developed specific theories about the pattern of impacts within London, a statistical analysis by R. D. Clarke originally published in 1946 showed that the impacts of V-2 rockets on London were a close fit to a random distribution. - heyababy47428Seasoned NewcomerThat's bad luck.
- In my game, the set of 3 will always be in the same position 3 times in a row before it moves. This pattern persists through logins. Been like that since chritmas.
- I feel like it has a percentage of the box you're least likely to pick after each pick.
- Who's to say that they aren't ALL the same number?
IOW no matter which one you tap first, it will show what all 3 are. "daved7637397;c-1928685" wrote:

As much time as he spends on TV, you would think this guy could afford a comb!
And learn how to pronounce "extraterrestrial".- I'm fairly sure there's a pattern, but I'm even more certain that it's not worth the bother of figuring out for sure whether there is. (I'm reminded of Springfield Downs here.) Even if you could identify a pattern, you'd then have the problem of figuring out where you are in the series, leaving you in more or less the same place as if the sequence were entirely random.
Just play and enjoy your well-earned donuts.
