This is just getting stupid

Yep, exactly the same thing has happened to me on my last two boxes. My common colour is pink, so I've been trawling through my neighbours trying to find some with pink->blue baskets.

I finally got enough blue eggs for a box, which gave me gold eggs. This meant I had enough for a gold box, which I opened and won - 250 pink eggs.

And today, I finally earned enough for another blue box which gave me - 250 pink eggs. Again.

This event is turning into a massive pi$$ take. With no baskets and hardly any neighbours with baskets, it's really difficult to open more than one box a day, and then when you do, to be awarded with 250 eggs after you've just spent 500 eggs opening the damn box in the first place is beyond a joke.

I think that was my first ever rant about this game! I've crossed over to the dark side..... :evil: :cry:

What you SHOULD get is 500 gold eggs, a free spin basically. You'll probably just get an Easter Gate or Pastel Fences, but at least it'll be something, and not as much of a letdown.

It sucks doesn't it :( But welcome to the dark side - the more of us over here the more EA may take notice and never repeat this awful system ever again! :twisted:

yeah exactly, I'd rather get another fence than a quarter of the eggs I put into it back again!

For the first time in over a year, I've not bothered with the last two Premium items - Manjula & Largo. I've suddenly lost the will to spend any money on this game and it needs to improve a lot to win me back over.

Oh dear that's bad :(

This event has convinced me to go freemium, and I've spent a lot of money getting most of the premium content.

On a separate note I just emailed EA to complain about the event, never thought I'd actually go that far but it had to be done haha! I hope other people have done the same!

Why even have that as an option to win?!

2000 blue eggs became 500 blue eggs (not even enough to get another pink box) and I have nothing to show for it!

it annoys me more that the 250 eggs is a option in gold boxes.. takes long enough to get gold eggs due to fences and other stupid crap in blue/pink boxes
