The proof is in the show. "Adjacent to" and "on" are two different things so it being on land is perfectly fine- it's close by but it's not actually part of the Squidport itself.

Yes, I've tried to store that rabbit every day hoping they've fixed the issue that prevents it from being stored.

I stored the Clamphitheater for a bit, but after seeing it near Squidport makes me want to place it by the water.

I haven't tried storing the rabbit, but the task delays are really, really annoying. It would be nice if they'd just fix them. I have yet to accidentally tap on a bunny, but I can see that would be annoying.
