"Valentines Extended" Game Files
Well that's no use to me. I already have him :-( but I'm not surprised they're extending it, they always do :-£

PLEASE do not make the mistake I made, do not buy the non-limited time items right away. Just wait. Deals will be offered, they will go on sale.
If the event is extended? It will be because they made some sort of coding mistake, then the new event will start and it will be so buggy that once again the servers will crash and many will be locked out.

Careful now - this depends on the item. :)
For example, some of the buildings in this Valentine's update were purchased with hearts. Hearts were essentially free, so the buildings were free. If one did not buy these items now, they may cost $$ in the future. If game money, that's just one more item a new person has to save for. If premium, even if a deal, that's real life money.
Also, some items just disappear. We've seen the Duff Car, all Halloween items, Thanksgiving items, Christmas items and the Mapple Store all disappear. Likewise, certain characters or items were limited time, like the Cool Brown House or Fat Tony. So if one didn't get the item when it was offered - even if it cost donuts - it's gone now.
Therefore, I think it really depends on the deal. Something like the Springfield sign or Volcano have been around for a while - so those are good to wait for deals. But waiting on others might be risky. Tricky EA, no?azchristopher wrote:

with gill?- It's funny that nobody seems to recognize the correlation with a new update rolling out and servers crashing from increased load. It's as if they don't recognize that a new update is going to cause EVERYBODY TO RUSH TO THE APP and cause increased server load.
Especially when the common solution people have to a "Busy Server" message is to keep retrying and thus hammering the server. - I hope it isn't another Hank sale...they just had him for sale after Christmas. Hopefully they just forgot to rename the file.....
