I doubt they will be available after. I bought them, but I buy all the characters like a moron, so I think they are definitely worth spending real money on like a moron.

From a freemium players' perspective: Save your donuts on something you really want.
I bought the Vegas Wives at the start of the event because of the cost/reward ratio, hoping they'd help during the event after rewarding you with Players Club points. They unfortunately didn't.
I'm not short of cash ingame but if you are they're a good set of premium characters to have.
