I'd like to think that I have a nice Springfield. No house farms, good layout, my own Burns Manor...

Sadly, no lemon tree though...

I know how you feel - I put a request in the add me friend thread specifically asking for friends who take pride in their town.
I got many whose town was a jumbled mess. From day 1 people who take care wont put buildings in empty paddocks or stacked behind each other just to get dollars.
I could be considered a pseudo house farmer but I always held the principle that each house must have a road frontage and be at least 1-2 squares apart - not crammed next to each other.
I believe my town is still pleasing to the eye and improving by the week as I get more land to start spacing things out.
I have got the required level of daily income and have stopped buying houses.
So I will send a friend request to you and for others who have like ideals as the originator of this thread feel free to also add friend requests. I cull friends progressively when I get people who take as much pride as much as me or even more!

I like to think I have a pleasing little town going on. :D

I'm on level 21 just now and trying to build a Springfield with some Simpsons type nuances. For example Police station placed in between the House of Evil and Lard Lad doughnuts. I thought that was a nice touch, also the Retirement Castle just behind the church for super fast transfers and funeral services......
I play regularly so add me if you like, I do enjoy seeing other well arranged Springfields !
