Bonus donuts are just that a bonus not you right to get them. What EA chooses to do and the effect it has on getting donuts is entirely their choice/oversight, so stop complaining and be grateful that we get any at all.

I'm quite surprised of your answer. I just want to give an opportunity for people like me who feel like having back our previous chance to have donuts can voice our opinion. You are probably among those who kept writing donuts are too easy now we have too many etc... But I do not agree with it and thought it would be good for people who felt like me to also have a chance to voice our opinion. Yes I bought donuts too but Bonuts always makes me feel more inclined in buying more premium buildings /items so I will be more inclined in buying more donuts. Removing virtually all our chance to get donuts during this event due to glitches or designs is discouraging for me, probably not as much for those who can spend thousands of real money on the game. I hope people who feel like me can speak up too so EA won't feel like it is a consensus that every player finds its too easy to get donuts now. Thanks.

We certainly will be "losing" donuts for this event, from the perspective of opportunity cost (I've gotten very little donuts from daily tasks due to all the event currency rewards). Not complaining or feeling a sense of entitlement, but like the OP I am certainly feeling the lack of donuts/bonuts this event.

There is no need of sarcasm. Maybe you guys are still getting donuts. For me, my friend visits won't give donuts from tapping bandits, my Maggie is glitched, Railyard is limited cause my characters are doing event jobs, daily challenges give event currency, sideshow you wasn't giving donuts, so tbh I haven't seen donuts almost since the event started (maybe only once for daily challenge reward before the mystery box) in the past 2 weeks. It is really good for you if you are still getting lots of donuts. But it is totally different for me. We just had an event where everyone had tons of Bonuts? I didn't have a lot. Was it a glitch I missed? Anyway, this is so strange. Sounds like I'm the only one not getting almost any donut since the event started? Everyone is still having tons of them? Then no wonder EA needs to nerf it. Thanks for your input. But if it is the contrary, please voice too so I know I'm not the only one who had almost no donuts for the past 2 weeks. Thanks

I've gotten two whole donuts from the Daily Challenges since this event began, and that is only after cancelling. Big Whoop. Cancelling the challenges always gives me badges or hats, even though I am finished with Act 2 and I have 20,000 hats. 32 more hats is going to help a lot!

I haven't received any donuts....except for finishing 10 daily tasks which was nice and gave me enough to get ninja homer and now im back down to 10 donuts, but when it comes to premium currency....I could give a rats @ss about it...I just hate being bored between acts....

After collecting 1750 badges to earn $100 and 10 badges. I really miss event bonus donuts.

What is next? Raising the XP ceiling to 100 million?

Don't give them any ideas. If they did that I would be done.

A lot of people were complaining about too many bonuts. I would be happy to exchange all the "prizes" I get for those donuts. The Daily Challenges are just a whole lot of nothing. Worse than nothing because I have to complete those yellow tasks, which means I have to manually set 100 characters jobs.

There are very few Daily Challenges in which you can use all Springfielders. Most use Character Groups subsets or Single Characters. Or do you have 100 kids in your SF?

If I just think it's too much of a "pain" to manually assign each kid on a task after assigning the 5 or so needed for a Daily Challenge, then I'll just let them wander around for the 1 hour or so until the Challenge is done. No point in getting all stressed/frustrated about it.

Also, it's kinda amusing that a year ago every character had to be manually assigned. But now we're so used to the Jobs Manager that we get annoyed when we have to manually assign. lol.

You have to get one of the "Make Springfielders" challenges for a prize you absolutely do not want to see how annoying this thing is. It should come up regularly too, and then give you nothing useful for the effort. Now that I have 150 or so usable characters, playing without the job manager takes too long and the Daily Challenges System essentially disables that.

Yes, I get that. But as I stated above there aren't many of the DCs that use all Springfielders. So to claim that the Daily Challenges "are just a whole lot of nothing" is a bit silly.

Are the bonus donuts in the general store locked for everyone else? I've received all the previous prizes.

Am I being an idiot? It says Day 14 (today, right?), Bonus: 3 donuts for your hard work! Unlock previous prizes to unlock Bonus. And it says new prizes appear in 16 hours.
What am I not understanding?

To me, it honestly feels like a bug. Here's why:

Typically, all recent events have had 'Bonuts' (Bonus Donuts) for finishing the Act early. Even after getting the final prize, it even says "Continue collecting for donuts!". So this is a bug/glitch as:

A: It wouldn't show the text if this was not intended.

B: This functionality has existed prior.

This to EA is obviously a minor bug, as it simply rewards premium currency. Either the text should be removed, or they need to put in the bonus boxes for acquiring said currency. I'm fine with stockpiling the resources, as it will make Act III start much quicker.
