Weak Defense strategy

Question

I just thought of trying that strategy as well, and searched the forum to see if anyone else had thought of that. Drawing in more people to attack my town seemed like a better idea than worrying about getting elixir by attacking tons of others. We'll see how this plays out!

I was thinking of doing this too, but I want box castle wall pieces without spending donuts. I'm upgrading boxington as much as possible past level 20 and leaving the other two at level ten.

If you're going this route, you might want to consider leaving your characters off jobs and maybe leaving a collapsed building or two so that invaders will think you've given up on the event.

You should also keep in mind that this will limit your nerd generation, which will slow your overall elixir/gold generation. The question is whether the payoff from defending will compensate for the lost nerds. I'm doubtful.

I'm not sure that it is necessary.  I personally don't pay any attention to time.  I go into a town drop off five nerds and move on.  I realize the payoffs may drop off, but I also think that once people have all the prizes they may not play as much.
