What are your Donut spending regrets...

There are people posting on other forums that they contacted EA about the islands and were credited for their purchase. Doesn't hurt to try.

I bought the boardwalk character (which I still forget his name) thinking it was Krusty the talking doll. He's entertaining but I wouldn't have shelled out the 70-80 donuts had I known.

I also bought event currency the first weekend of Halloween just in case it was our only chance. It was one of the ones I ended up having so much of I couldn't even use it :). Would have rather spent donuts on rigellian shrubs instead - love those.

I love that sound, it's creepy and funny. Was willing to risk the speculations about what it would mutate into just for the chance to keep the sound it makes. I'd love to have that as a text message notification sound :).

holy * 3 boatlods god danm dawg. my worst regret is when i rush task or crud houses.

I only buy characters, skins or buildings that come with characters or skins. I was tempted to get Martin's ice palace, but I stayed with my "policy": no character or skin, no purchase.

I did buy the hot tub, the cannon, the movie theater and some other premium stuff that offered jobs but I did that early in the game when a) I still needed money badly and wanted the extra income from those places, and b) I'd not yet established my "policy".

The only goof/regret was buying the leprechaun and the yupprechaun last year. I was so excited about the *. Patrick's Day update that I bought them before I realized they were NPCs.

Granted, they're better than most NPCs because they return money/XP, but I still wouldn't have purchased them if I'd known they were NPCs. I should've waited until I could come here and learn more about them, but like I said, I was jazzed for the update and purchased impulsively...

Probably the only thing that annoys me in my town is the fireworks barge, but other than that I'm happy with my purchases. I started out as fermium (which didn't last long) and I love having all the limited items that have come out since I turned to the dark side! :twisted:

My curse is that I am a 'completionist'. The only purchases that bug me are the one's like the islands. EA stick them up for sale as 'limited time' and then you get them for free later. The only thing I missed was Krustys mansion, and that was because I was on holiday. However, as it was 'limited time' it will almost certainly come around again.
