What Changed With the Treehouse of Horror XXVII and "Havana Wild Weekend" Updates? (Update: 11/9)

Basically in one fell swoop, with the removal of the bonus XP multipliers from the beach hideaways and the HUGE increase in the bonus level XP requirements, they've completely destroyed any and all goodwill that would have come from the other changes in this update.

Whoever thought this was a good idea needs to be canned immediately.
