American werewolf in London.
Worst film I've sat through in my enter life.
Me & hubby were told I was a brilliant classic by a friend at work, so we gave it a go. the whole way through we were so confused, but kept watching cause we just kept thinking 'it must get better soon'
It never did. What a flop!
That movie is a horror classic. The werewolf is so incredibly done. Plus, I have no idea how you could be confused during this film.

I gather that, since your friend said it was a "classic," that you saw the film many years after it was released in theaters. I remember seeing it as a kid when it came out. Back in the days before CGI or even the Michael Jackson "Thriller" video, that transformation into a werewolf was absolutely the most frightening thing I had ever seen. I still love that film for that reason .... BUT I' haven't seen it again since sometime in the early 80s. I'm sure if I saw it today I would think it was cheesy and silly and agree with you.
The werewolf changing scene still holds up. An amazing accomplishment in effects. Maybe I just have more of an appreciation for practical effects. They amaze me more than what someone can do on a computer.
Seed. A Uwe Boll film that was purely made to shock people. The opening credits has real footage of dogs being skinned. It pissed me off to no end.
