- I personally dont like this "chance" deal, i like the old Whacking day system where you had to work towards collecting a certain amount to win the prizes, least that way providing you put the time in you got everything with this "Chance" System you run the risk of not getting everything! Being a completist it is really going to annoy (putting it politely) the hell out of me if i dont get everything!

I'm not a completionist per se but I can only imagine what you feel like with these events!
What irks me the most about this is the fact that you have to put so much time into an event, and in return MAYBE you'll win something for the time. That's so stupid!
How about we maybe pay the developers for their work... Let's see how they'd like it - I'm all for clarity, so I'd rather work steadily towards prizes I know I'm going to get. I don't want multiples of unwanted decorations, as in the Valentines event. I really enjoy the community prizes too. I found nothing relaxing about spinning for that wretched ClausCo at Christmas, so I'm hoping this Easter event isn't going to be the same, tripled.

As much as I wish what you said would be true but it's probably gonna be the same as the Christmas event. My only hope is it's not triple as bad. I still have a bad taste in my mouth from Christmas. This will just make it worse!epicpctest wrote:
Guys if you opened the blue/pink box over 80 times, you will AUTOMATICALLY get all of the buildings/characters in the box.
For the golden one it's 15 times for banana dictatorship, 20 times for bunny24601 , 50 times for father sean, shary bobbins at the 80 and hugs bunny after 81.
It is chance based at the beginning though.
Can I ask you something?
Do you think you're gonna collect that many eggs?
If so by all means say it doesn't matter. But like I said come back at the end of the event and feel free to change your mind. :)AJtheboss1 wrote:

It's hard to tell how it will pan out. My characters haven't finished the initial 24 hour task yet, so I can't get my head round questions of how many eggs per day, exchange, etc. Hopefully the odds will be in our favour to collect all prizes in a relaxed, timely way.ink19810 wrote:
the odds this time around aren't that bad
You're right, it seems do-able.ink19810 wrote:

I hope you're right about that!
But this isn't suppose to be about odds to begin with. It's about you putting in work and potentially getting nothing out of it. After previous events, the failure dissuaded me from trying like I would if it was an event where there were set goals, such as the Halloween event.AJtheboss1 wrote:

I really like the idea of community prizes with everyone working towards the same goal. As far as the individual prizes are concerned, I'm not competitive and I'm not a gambler, so I think that's why the more straightforward 'finishing line' approach appeals to me more. Commercially, however, it's perhaps not such a successful model for EA, and we have to bear that in mind.- hopefully EA take a look at this. I'd rather end up with 1 of each prize than multiples of some and completely missing out on others.
