Why not just make everything free right now?
Given that we can no longer spend money in the game and everything is coming to an end, why not just make everything free now?

they would have had to edit thousands of items . they did the next best thing and made donuts cost in game cash which is easy to get

They essentially did. They gave everyone God with a 777,000.00 task every 24 hrs. That's before multiplier. There are lots of post on how to buy cash with donuts then buy donuts and get double or more back.
