Those counters also clue you in to who's ahead and who's slackin'. I delete obvious hackers as well as pitiful slackers! I like a clean neighborhood.
I have one of those possible hackers.......this person had something like 88000 cheap intel after the first day or something stupid... but I decided to keep them on as they always have stuff to tap (and they've tapped back), they don't do me any harm plus I get to see all the new items and premium stuff out in their town which helps me see how things actually work (not that I buy anything anyway...i'm so stingy)
Just because someone has high event currency does NOT necessarily mean that they are a hacker. Some players, for whatever reasons, buy their way through the event. Some players may experience a glitch through no fault of their own. When it becomes suspicious is when they have unreleased items from upcoming acts.

The name of the shop we win as a penultimate prize for collecting intel is 'You only own twice'... a rather genius name for a pawn shop if you ask me...made me chuckle anyway
Parody business names in the show have always been one of my favorite features of the Simpsons. They're usually very clever but still hilarious.
