will there be a halloween event this year?
Maybe EA will do a smaller Halloween event like they do with Valentines, * Pats and July 4th. Say it lasts for 14 or 21 days.

- Halloween should still happen. It's one of the biggest events in Simpsons history. Both in the show & in the game. It will probably start a week or 2 later if anything.
Halloween 2012 was released on October 3
Halloween 2013 was released on October 1st - I hope it does, it'll be my first Halloween event. I want those graveyards.
- I really hope they have a Halloween event. Those are my favorite events by far in this game.
- I think Halloween is, to most players, the biggest Simpsons event of the year. People would be very, very disappointed if it didn't happen. For that reason, I can't believe EA would just skip it or turn it into a mini-event. More likely (just my guess of course) is they'll start it later and end it later. Maybe around October 15 to November 15 or something like that. Then they could skip having a mini Thanksgiving event and go straight to Christmas.
- I think everyone should be prepared for no Halloween. I'm psyched for this new event but always surprised by EAs strange timing.

- Will ABSOLUTELY happen... THOH is mandatory tentpole:
-either overlap w/end of this one (which does certainly have some pre - Halloween solid Fall flavor), or immediate following, & could blend /overlap w/Simpsorama for November 'crazy bananas' Tri-Fecta... which could even lead right into Xmas.
The summer lull is henceforth officially obliterated :twisted: - The Simpsons can get away with doing Halloween after 10/31 ;)
- Like I posted in the other thread, no way they will pass up a chance to re-release all of the stuff from the two halloween events. If they bring it all back it's something like 800 - 1000 donuts before any new stuff. And there's so much more they could add this year. Warewolf Flanders and Willy Kruger would be awesome. Maybe a vampire vs warewolf theme or alien invasions? There are so many possibilities...

Well... I doubt they will push that update that far, but credit where credit is due; as they have indeed televised a couple past THOH just after the holiday w/ the witty remark 'Halloween isn't over til the Simpsons say it's over':mrgreen:
