Right? - Be warned that Marge's 12 and 24 hour tasks require the cauldron, which will cost another 25 donuts. So you are looking at a 100 donut purchase if you want to be able to use the costume completely.

Thanks for that info.
Past two Halloweens the cauldron was 75 donuts and came with Witch Marge. According to wikia it was 90 donuts in the first Halloween.
That is a 2.25% bonus for the cauldron per wikia.JimJ321 wrote:

Technically everything is a must for a completionist- I just bought the cauldron and it sits there doing nothing - who starts the quest? Or do I have to buy witch Marge separately.
I can see her on the on sale characters.
Searched and the witch marge costume is not available, so I don't know what to do. The cauldron seems a useless thing after paying 40 donuts for it.

- The cauldron was 25 donuts. It used to come with the skin for 75 donuts, but they got greedy.
- cauldron is good... can reduce crops harvest time by 4 hr
