No thanks, I don't like being charged monthly for a lot of things because it's not a definite that my credit cars will have the available funds. I just had to contact Microsoft because they tried to charge my card every single day for 7 days for another xbox live subscription that I didn't want. Had to speak to 3 different people before it got sorted out. I can just imagine how annoying EA would be, speaking from experience with calling their customer service. Not worth the hassle, I'd rather buy things at my own pace.

as good as it would be they'll never in a million years do it.the point of micro transactions is to not make you realise how much you're spending because the money is spread out but it adds up.. it's how people end up spending $200-$1000 on this game.

At a subscription model, they would have to crank out a lot more updates than they currently do at the moment. This would not benefit anyone in the slightest. Except the people willing to drop down the money & let's be honest. Those people are in the minority. The reason this game is so successful is because of the Freemium model. Anyone can play this game perfectly fine without ever having to spend a single dime & they won't be left behind. They can advance just fine like everybody else & they will still keep getting new characters, buildings & decorations just like everybody else. And they can also participate in all special events & even win free donuts from time to time.The way they have it set up now is good and has been working for them just fine.

No because then the game is no longer free to play and wouldn't do as well as it now. Besides if a premium player wants a 100 donuts each month they will just buy them and their technically is items exclusive to those who buy them it's called a premium item

No. If I continue to play the game for a year, I would be paying $120 for a phone app. That's more than I paid for the phone itself.

I don't understand the benefit the player would derive from your model. you get a certain amount of donuts for the subscription price which I assume would be a better deal than the current donut pprice. Maybe a premium token also.Doesn't really sound much different that the current model. They could just lower the rice of donut and no subscription would be needed.

Would you prefer a subscription model?

Well if people can pay $20 dollars for the whale, I don't see why 10 dollars a month would be an issue.

I voted "Nope. You're an idiot. Are you done yet? Kill yourself." though I don't necessarily mean all that.

Ultimately, the current model works better for them. People don't want to pay to download a game, and they definitely don't want to pay a monthly subscription fee. Me, I'm foolish enough to be a completionist, but I would stop being one if I had to pay a recurring monthly fee--even though, objectively, the total amount I'd pay would probably be less.

Also, the max subscription fee I could justifiably envision for any mobile game would be $5/mo. For $10/mo, you would need a much more advanced, multiplayer game on a computer or console.

Actually this plays to the lazy people theory, which is also a problem for EA, because lazy people forget their auto-subscribed things..... Leads to a common problem I head as front desk director at a gym with monthly auto-withdrawals-
Guest- "I have autopay, haven't used this (insert game, gym, or anything else with monthly payments that you would use to pay) for the last 8 months- you need to refund all my money"
Just having the conversation is too much hassle for EA, they wouldn't want to deal with partial/full refunds and proving stuff- it gets ridiculous fast. All because it was cost efficient to get autopay but then we forgot and stopped using whatever, lazy people syndrome- saw it quite a bit- bad thing is they usually act completely in appropriate to get their way.....
