What you said. Time constraint forced them to release the tie-in. Had they waited folks would be unhappy about that delay.

I'm on iPad and it is laaaaaaaaaaaaaaagy. But I'm hiding things and doing the quest for the tie-in.

Hard to visit others though.

They'll get it fixed. It's their business.
