Appears so. I won Barney and the Bowlarama a long time ago during the Christmas 2012 event so I don't remember the quest line but what is posted on the guides in this forum is almost always correct (and in those rare cases, it is quickly corrected).

I bought him and wondered if anything went wrong cause it seemed way too short.

Guess this was it then. Kinda dissapointing.
