Donuts still going missing !

Your best bet (although it often comes with no response) is to write the EA help center at https://help.ea.com/en/the-simpsons/the-simpsons-tapped-out. Unfortunately EA doesn't monitor these threads.

By chance, you haven't accidentally spent a donut here and there on speeding up a task have you? In terms of your friends vanishing, it happens to me sometimes but I log out of Origin then back in, and the friends come back.
