Mystery Box and Tasks

I was wondering; as an idea; wouldn't it be awesome for people who started playing later then the release date, could get 'premium characters' in the Mystery Box, or get specific 'tedious' tasks to free certain 'premium characters' like 'the bullies', Barney or Barney's Bowlerama, etc.
