Other Springfields

When a new quest starts and we have to go into other Springfields to tap on whatever the item is at that time, does anyone know a quicker way to find the items we are supposed to tap on other than looking throughout the entire Springfield? I have almost 100 "Other" Springfields to search and it takes me longer to find the item/person/object to tap that it does to play my own Simpsons Springfield. I'm not lazy but I sure hate wasting the time. I like the between quests as all I need to do is tap on builidings, etc. Much much faster. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
  • A few points I would make about your question:
    1. You only have one ‘Other Springfield’ (the first one listed on the neighbours towns screen) the rest are friends. Early in an event a quest may say to go to ‘Other Springfield’.
    2. Find out how many friends give you event currency - in this event, only the first 30 taps (10 friends) will give you event currency. I don’t visit more than 10 friends each day.
    3. Know exactly which characters can be tapped for each event. I look for the ones with balloons. https://answers.ea.com/t5/The-Simpsons-Tapped-Out/Tap-neighbors-park-visitors/m-p/6831826#M126772
    4. If you have lower level friends, visit those in preference to higher levels to make it easier to find characters to tap.
    5. Decide if it is really worth your time and effort to visit more than 10 friends each day.
    Have fun!
  • Hey thanks. But one thing I do notice when tapping in Other Springfields that if I keep tapping I end up with 3 extra donuts. So its hard to say if I would still receive the 3 extra donuts if I only tapped on 10. I'll try it next time and see.

She isnt suggesting only to tap 10, just that only 10 give you event currency. After that it reverts back to whatever you get in cash (depending on your friend level)

Personally, I only keep about 30 neighbors, and during events I tend to hide all but the 10 lowest leveled ones, to make it quicker to search for what I need. I even have one neighbor who hasnt played in over 2 years, their town is level 8 and only has 3 or 4 buildings, which makes it really easy to find whatever you need. Thats just how I do things, as with anything in life, take what will work for you and leave the rest. Any other helo we can be let us know. Happy tapping!
