update Monsarno or save up for prizes?
I am leveling up first, it unlocks more jobs to get the things needed for the crafting.

There's no limit to the upgrades that I know of, but there's a point where it's pointless. Spoiler: At the end the final tasks are to upgrade them both . End spoiler.
I recommend stopping at 16 or 17 for Monsarno and 15 for the Squirter.
