Fix The Frozen Screen Glitch

After character selection I start loading in then suddenly it freezes right before the match starts, it's not a console issue because it still allows me to access the menu. It is a serverside issue.

IMPORTANT NOTE!!: if you change it so that, if you leave the game before you touch gloves or have thrown strike, then you don't lose any elo points. As soon as you touch gloves or throw a strike you will lose elo points upon leaving the match. That way even if it does freeze, then you can back out without losing any points. 

I get that aswell. Do you mean right after character selection? All they have to do is make it so that if you leave a match before you touch gloves or throw a strike then you don't lose any points and the opponent doesn't gain any either.

No. It's before the fight even starts. It happens in both Ranked MMA and Online Career. 

There's a few very quick loading screens in between the matchup menu and the fight starting.  People do something to keep the screen just stuck in between  - usually on a white screen.  And whoever quits first loses the fight and loses points. There are players who do it intentionally and then even laugh about it in psn messages. 

These people are seemingly willing to sit for hours using a 3-star fighter just to accumulate points and falsely climb leader boards. 

I tagged EA_Mako​ but haven't gotten a response about this glitch. It is getting abused more and more.

Thank you. I see it was addressed in the notes for patch 1.23 ... is that live yet? If not when is the release date?

Patch 1.23 will be going live tomorrow. Just updated the patch timing there, but it sounds like you've seen the rest of the update in the article itself.

That may help address one particular cause for some DNF results, but this particular issue is still under investigation. Definitely let us know if it seems to have improved after tomorrow's patch, but I wouldn't yet expect it to be fully resolved. 

EA_Mako​ -- It seems to still be happening frequently in online career. A person who used that DNF win glitch several times against me last season is near the top of the leader boards once again this season. 

If it happens once, it could be a freak occurrence but if a person does it multiple times... 

On Ranked MMA, I haven't encounteted it yet but I imagine it can be done.

This is still under investigation and not something I'd expected to see resolved with the last update, but thanks for confirming you're still seeing that going on.

I'm not sure if it's intentional but I have the same happening to me in this tournament... (Playstation)
