Re: GAME FACE NOT SAVING

I could get gameface to work if I use a different account, but an account that had one with UFC 2 makes the gameface website hang on generating gameface.

Is there another way to delete the old gameface or could someone delete it for me?

I'm trying to use game face however I can go through the whole process and it keeps showing an old face I made like a year ago of Floyd Mayweather instead of the new photos I just used. I cleared my cache and all that. Even used 2 different browsers (Chrome & Safari) and it is still showing me the old game face whenever I get to the end and it generates it.

If somebody from EA could assist me that would be great because UFC 3 comes out tomorrow night and I'd like to start Career mode with my face in the game. It's been broken for a long time. If you're not going to fix the feature then you should probably remove it. Looking through the forums, it's been like this for at least 2 years now.

It's still not working. I have tried exactly what he did and the face goes away and then comes back. Why can't this just work? EA makes a * ton of money from Madden and Fifa and UFC. Why can't you guys just get something like this working or don't offer the feature at all. Or even better....PUT IT IN GAME!

This is ridiculous...Gameface hasn't been working for me since half way through the life of UFC 2. I made a new account and tried it, wont work. Tried Safari, Firefox, Chrome, IE. Used Windows & Mac. Cleared caches. Just front pic. Front and side. Resized pictures. Taken different pictures. NOTHING WORKS!

I've also merged your post in here as one of our players seems to have found the solution to your particular situation, as you can see here, it seems you can overwrite the previous game face by following these steps.

Just do it as you normally would. Starting at the gender selection page should allow you to delete the old gameface once you've went through the entire process. It's a pain, but was the only way I could get the system to reset and start over.

I have did everything as well mentioned, and I get this error every time while in UFC 3 trying to import my Gameface in game !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Am I the only one getting this geeeeeeeeeeez ?

I'm still getting the same face from UFC2 everytime then delete by bin icon start over still get the same from your link too... tried making whole new account to also get to last bit an fail on last load complete stage 

I'm having a similar problem.  Trying to create a gameface for EA UFC 3.  (I've verified that my EA account is linked with my PS4 and I'm creating said gameface using the proper account)

But when I get to step 5 of 5 (after placing markers on points of interest on the front and side photos and generating the image) I get an error saying my game face could not be generated and to try again later.  Hasn't worked in the last few days either.

Anyone have a work around for this??  Any status on if game face is down or being updated?

I have tried this method multiple times and still it shows my old gamer face from UFC 2 and doesn't allow me to delete the older one. This is beyond frustrating. There has to be another way to work around this. 

Do you have any tips on creating an accurate looking fighter via game face?  I can upload mine but when I generate it in game the results are horrid.

Are you using a smartphone camera or an actual camera?

Lighting and distance?

Selfie or is someone taking the photo for you?

What size should the photos be prior to uploading.

I just used my Galaxy S7's camera. It's a decent camera for a mobile phone, just make sure you have good lighting with no shadows on your face.

I've done exactly what you've said, I've clicked the link that's from the gender page, it still hasn't solved it.
You say that starting from the gender page will make the game face "start over" it's definitely untrue on my side.

No matter what link I've clicked from your posts, it's still showing an old face I made in early 2017.

I think it's up to EA to simply reset people's accounts because obviously us clicking delete is not deleting from the actual cache.

How are you creating it on the website with no problem?? On Chrome, I can't move my picture around to center it up. On Firefox, I get an error every single time. And IE and Safari were just waste of time. How has gameface been out for this long yet it's still error after error. Stop giving us work arounds and just fix it, man. Come on. 

That doesn't work at all.

I think the reason it's not generating is because you can't seem to move the pictures onto the reference lines.  You can zoom in and out, but you can't pan the picture up, down, or side to side anymore.  You used to be able to.  I've tested this with Chrome, Firefox, and MS Edge and none of those browsers seem to allow you to drag the picture.  This is on EA's end.

This is the most ridiculous thing ive ever experienced. Gameface has not worked for me since it was introduced, with the exact same issue. this is atrocious ethics from EA. They can clearly see that customers care about this feauture, but are too busy trying to fit even more microtransactions. You deserve the rep you have, EA, if not worse
