Re: How do i time strikes for a combination?

I get that sometimes too. Likely latency between the two connections. Are you on XB1? If your controller isn't up to date, this will happen. Also, don't string too many strikes together because they are queued up. If there is latency, two strikes will input as one but take the stamina of two. Slow down your striking when this happens.

  • I'm on a PS4 but I sometimes feel there's a delay in my moves which make it hard to time the following punch. Am I right in thinking I should time my following strike just before the previous strike lands?

You don't have to. That is what I mean by queue up. The game will remember button presses. However, with latency, if you are too quick with the presses it can skip one but still take the stamina. Like a ghost strike. Slowing down your timing is best, but you still need to be quick enough with your combos. Latency makes the game very hard to play.
