Been getting this error since about 4.15 this afternoon. I had been playing the game not 20 minutes before that! I am using an iPhone 4s and I have played at least a couple hours a day since the game came out. I had not updated, added, changed anything whatsoever on my device. I had this same issue a few months ago and it started working again after about two days on it's own, so I'm hoping for the same thing this time too!! But like everybody with similar problems, my concern is that I will lose my progress!! If the worst should happen, will EA be able to access my data via my EA account or something? I have not as of yet seen a solution for this that pertains to my particular device and/or OS.
Ant help or info will be much appreciated!! I have a huge amount of time and effort invested! I LOVE this game!!!
