Could also do with an option to change transmission type in car tuning/setup screen instead of going into the main menu to change.
@SithMetal71 you actually can change it even when already in game there will be a tooltip at the bottom at the screen for options etc. with xbox layout its x button. there you can quickly get to accessibility and set them.
