Yes please this is very annoying. Otherwise you have to keep changing the shifting option in Assists between H-shifter and sequential every time you alternate between H-shifter or sequential gear cars. In online matches, you don't even get the option to do so, leading to the hilarious situation of driving a sequential car with H-shifter and being able to go from 5th to 2nd gear. So much for realism.
In DR 2.0, you had an option called "Sequential OR H-Shifter." This meant the game would follow your H-shifter for H-shifter cars and paddles for sequential gear cars. Please bring this back.
