Hey geys, so i'm struggling with waht appears to be input lag, it all just feels delayed and laggy giving a rubber band effect to the steering and a very imprecise feeling, having responsive controls is a must in a driving game and i'm sure if the lag is measured by someone it would be very high, here's a video example of it, anyone feeling it?
if they could fix the input lag i'd be able to enjoy the game, the input lag is a killer though
I just started my first championship. Played the first two Monte Carlo stages….
the frame rate, stuttering, tearing was all horrible, but what really got me was the feeling I couldn’t shake that there was Input lag.

this steering lag looks exactly like Dirt 4. i was trying to get Dirt 4 going a couple days ago cause WRC would not even launch for me and i refunded it. i gave up on Dirt 4 mainly because of the steering lag and the FFB is bloody terrible. Dirt Rally 2 has no lag or inertia like this, so why is it present in WRC? this should have been the first thing addressed! i wouldnt count on a fix for the WRC lag if it hasnt been fixed by now. will take a lot for me to try repurchasing but im keeping an eye on progress, not many race sims being released so was looking forward to WRC. sigh...
Surprise, I downloaded the game all these years later and the game still has horrible input lag, they never fixed it. They never could. It’s a broken title and horribly optimized, I guess I’m sticking with Dirt Rally 2 until Assetto Corsa Rally comes out.
