I was very, very disappointed to hear that there was NOT going to be PSVR2 support for the new WRC 2023;
The game looks very good but after playing GT7 with the PSVR2v headset from launch I can't understand why WRC 2023 will not receive VR support on the PS5; race/rally games are so much better when played in VR; not seeing your livingroom but being really seated in the car is a mindblowing experience. So I'm still hoping that both Codemasters/EA will change their mind and implement PSVR2 support for this wonderful rally title coming early november.
There's also a PSVR2 WRC 2023 support topic on Reddit, perhaps anyone would like to contribute too;

This would be a day 1 purchase for me if it was released with PSVR2 support and unfortunately won’t be purchasing unless it gets it.
This is also the first year I’ve held off buying F1 (2023) as there’s no going back to flat screen after the 500+ hrs of immersion I’ve had in VR with GT7.
I would love for both WRC and F1 2023 top be supported, as would purchase both immediately!

same boat, this is an instant purchase if PSVR2 support is added.
but after playing GT7 in PSVR2 its hard to go back to flat , despite really waning to play WRC !

I am totally the same. I can play Spider-man on a tv but racing games - I need my rig and vr or it’s just not the same- gran turismo has spoiled me. Vr gives me depth and better speed perception. I tried playing wrc (bought it anyway) and I can see it’s a great game just can’t get over the loss of VR. Praying for an update or I’ll be only playing gt7. Really want that rally fix

I'm in the same boat.
I have been patiently waiting for EA WRC to release.
I have a PS4, PSVR and Dirt Rally.
Dirt Rally is 7 years old now but still an amazing experience in VR.
Now was meant to be the big spend on PS5, VR2 and EA Rally but without VR support, this is now on the back burner.
To my mind, racing games in VR are the pinnacle. Being able to look into a hairpin makes a huge difference.
Fingers crossed for VR2 support in the coming months.
