I would like to re-remind that Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VI is still reported as 6 speed h-pattern in the car selection menu even after the latest 1.4.0 update which added manual-autoselect option to transmission setting under assists. The manual-autoselect correctly makes the player use sequential and the car has sequential stick modelled inside. Hope the menu text is just fixed at some point. Subaru Impreza WRC 1998 also has an inaccuracy in the gearbox: it is described as a 6-speed sequential, but in game it uses the 6-speed H scheme.

Many cars were remodelled and now we have some innaccuracies believe it or not.. I believe the evo says 6 speed manual, which is not the case.

The menu music shuts off after you make a builder car, edit its livery and choose it for a custom race. This is after the 1.4 update.

Came here for because of this as well this time. When I noticed that that the manual-autoselect option makes the you use h-pattern for the car and I thought something was wrong. Also in the replay you can see that it has h-shifter modelled in. I thought it should be sequential like the car menu in the game says. However just went watch some 1998 Colin McRae onboards and it was h-pattern. So yea, it's the car menu that has the error. It seems like the Evo VI and the Impreza 1998 were mixed.
