Crash on Xbox Series X

Same for me. Promptly after "EA SPORTS IT'S IN THE GAME" logo screen, it crashes to Xbox home menu.

It is strange because the game ran okay until yesterday. 

The game wont load past the EA Sports screen. Goes back to the XBOX dashboard every single time. Been this way for hours. The game was working fine, and now wont work at all! 

Ive seen multiple reports of this issue on Xbox and PS5. Seem to have come out of the blue, and is rather frustrating! I hope this issue gets resolved real quick .

Same here.

The game ran smoothly until last night, but from this morning it won't start.

The "It's In The Game" logo and WRC logo shows, then it suddenly turns black and crashed to Xbox home menu. Without an error message or something.

I'm on Xbox Series X. I've tried every possible solution, including hard reset, network reset, with/without connecting the steering wheel, etc.

It is driving me mad.

FYI, I tried free trial with Gamepass Ultimate 2 days before. On that same day I bought the game because I loved it, after playing 1 or 2 hours.

Can it be related to expiration of free trial? But even if it does, I already re-installed the game TWICE today.

Please help quickly. I fell in love with this game and this situation is really frustrated.

Unfortunately ive had PS5 players report it to. So i dont think it has anything to do with your trial or anything like that. Ive been playing since day one, so i feel your pain!!

I did have someone say that all EA Servers are down across all games as they were trying to play a different EA and had the same problem. I hope this is the case! But have seen no announcements anywhere.

EA person has replied he escalated this issue and the team is currently investigating it.

Oh, he just added this: Could you try to change the date on your console and try again? The issue might be related to the date (February 29th). If that's it, I would recommend you change the date today and change it back tomorrow.

I've changed the date of my Xbox to 1st March, and it finally runs!

I don't know if you can change the date of your PS5, but try it!
