Issue with EA SPORTS™ WRC Game Crashing on Start-Up

This has worked for me and may not work for everyone. But after a lot of research and reading through threads, I'm almost certain it's the anti-cheat not allowing people to open the game and it should be an easy fix for EA but why would they do that for it's EA after all.

Anyway, I read on another thread that someone had uninstalled Windhawk (which I have installed) for those not familiar it's a program the overrides your start menu for customisation or bottom task bar etc, and the game launched for them. I didn't think it would work after trying so many different fixes, but low and behold, it worked for me and the game launched. No problems at all.

If you don't want to uninstall Windhawk I believe you can add an except for WRC in Windhawk somewhere, but I didn't bother I just uninstalled it as I don't need it anymore. But the persons comment I read, that's what he/she did.

So if you have Windhawk or similar programs installed, go through your program list and uninstall them 1 by 1 and see if the game will launch. I know this might be painful for some, but if you're willing to give it a try it might work.
