The Logitech H-pattern shifter does not work with this game. It is as though the game does not recognize the shifter is plugged in and does not shift into gear, or allow rebinding.
Anyone else having these issues? I am really hoping this gets fixed so I can use it as a hand brake. It worked really well for DIRT Rally 2.0

I had this same issue recently (Jan. 2025), the game wouldn't recognise the shifter at all whereas DR2.0 recognised it and it worked.
Solution:
The problem seems to be the Xbox Quick Start. Always quit the game so it starts fresh next time and no need for unplugging.
It worked for a couple days. Played it this morning and was working fine, come to play it now and it's randomly not working but still works fine on DR2 very frustrating.
Same issue, game does not recognise shifter on my G923 Xbox. However works perfectly fine on DR2
Seem like this is fixed now in 1.3. Shifter is working.
Yes, it worked briefly after the last update, but then it just stopped working again.
I used to bind the 4th gear to handbrake on dr2.
Strangly I had the binding working for 2 days and then the shifter is again not recognized.
I checked again on dr2 and the shifter is working perfectly well.

I bind my right paddle on my wheel to the hand brake and that part works, but as soon as the stage starts and I pull the handbrake my handbrake icon stays on and my car goes into neutral. Unplugging the whole wheel and plugging it back in would work in dr and dr 2.0 if any part of my set up wasn’t working, not the case here. H pattern doesn’t work at all and driving automatic is lame.
