Monte Carlo - stage segment has gravel grip levels on tarmac after restart

Product: EA SPORTS™ WRC
Platform:Steam-PC
Summarize your bug In Career Mode, after finishing the stage Ravin de Coste Belle, viewing the replay, and then restarting, one segment of the stage (beginning at the double caution 5 right call and ending just before the slight right, 6 right, hairpin left call) suddenly had gravel grip levels and road surface sounds despite the road surface being dry asphalt. This did not happen the first time through the stage, but happened every subsequent time after a restart.
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Finish the stage Ravin de Coste Belle. View the replay up to the affected section. Restart the stage and continue to the affected section.
What happens when the bug occurs? Segment of stage has gravel grip levels and road surface sounds
What do you expect to see? Segment has the same behavior as rest of the stage

This happened to me in career mode, 4WD Global Asphalt Series, S2000 Class, 97th in running order, short event length, Autumn season.

I haven't been able to recreate this in a Quick Play Championship in the same season and class.

Here's a video of this that I captured

  • While racing at Mexico and sometimes in certain parts of Greece, the car switches to tarmac grip and physics even though the surface is gravel. When this occurs, the gravel effects like dust kickup also stop, and tarmac tire sound effects occur.

Platform: Xbox Series X, latest version of game

Here is a video of it going back and forth at Mexico, making it impossible to drive the car properly.

Note the dust roostertail stopping and starting.
