Multiplayer tyres bug

There is a major tyre problem in multiplayer, new tyres put on at a service center start with full tyre wear. For example if you do a 4 stage rally, 3 stages on medium tyres then a service center and put on a fresh pair of softs for the final stage, when you start the tyres are fully worn out and show up red after the stage. Originally i thought it was just a menu bug on the stage times but its not, the tyres fully worn from the start of the stage.

And because you cant do a shakedown in multiplayer if you try to do a long rally 12 stages or more it doesnt give you enough tyre sets, and it makes it worse that if you take a set off they dissapear and you cant reuse them even if they are barely worn, the tyre system needs a full overhaul.

    This bug is also owned by Steam.

    In multiplayer, tire wear does not recover even if you change tires, so if you set up multiple stages in multiplayer, tire wear will progress midway through and the grip will continue to be zero.

    This is a serious bug when it comes to enjoying multiplayer, and needs to be resolved immediately.

    @lowride187 Ive had the same issue occasionally. It does occur in clubs and singleplayer too. Unfortunately I did not find a consistent way to replicate this bug. I have had sitiations where the tyres might not be fully worn but the wear state was carried over to the new set as the compound changes. It does not occur when you switch to a new set of same compound.

    Ive only had it happen in multiplayer so far and its everytime. So until they fix it we have just been doing 3 or 4 stage rallies with no service center

    (It was not mentioned in the patch notes.) We had hoped that this multiplayer tire bug would be fixed in patch 2.1.0.
    Unfortunately, the tire bug remained.

    This is a basic function of the multi-player and we request that it be fixed immediately.

    1. On dry tarmac, I ran on rain tires to wear the tires faster, and ran two stages to degrade the tires.

    2. On the next stage, I put on new medium tires.
    It was a short course, but after only one stage, the tires turned red and were marked Poor.

    3. In the next stage, I put on hard tires, but again the tires turned red after just a short stage.

    4. This tire bug occurred to all several people who participated in the verification, causing the tires to turn red.
