Re: T300RS buttons

Second try.

1. I deleted WRC from my PS5 and made clean install (was affraid, that maybe I did something wrong and messed up somehow buttons.)

2. Turned PS5 completely off and disconnected dualsense controller.

3. Switched PS5 back ON not with PS button on my controller, but with button on PS5 front panel. (just to be sure, that dualsense controller didnt messed up something)

4. Connected my T300RS to PS5 and started game with PS button on wheel.

5. Without touching any settings, got homescreen like on this screenshot:

Weird buttons "Top Left", green dot and red dot... 

What?!? I'm on PS5 and T300RS - never saw something like that! Or on PS4 or on PS3... 

Any clues, what are these or on what controller or system or wheel are those buttons?!?

    Well... after 3 hours found solution, kinda... Not acceptable, but at least got some buttons to work properly.

    As said on EA page: Note for Thrustmaster Wheels: to ensure correct bindings to suit your current Wheel Rim, please navigate to the Controls menu, highlight your Wheel Base from the list of detected devices, Edit Device and Load Device Preset. From here you can select your currently connected Rim and the tooltips will update accordingly.

    Well... funny thing was, that on T300RS circle means like "Esc" and cross means "Enter" (like all other wheels before - Logitech G25 and 27 etc). But by default in EA WRC buttons are exactly opposite - circle means "Enter" and cross mean "Esc"!!! Of course - then I tried to Load Device Preset, I pressed cross! ... So - instead entering a new value I pressed cancel! 😃😃😃

    Very, very, very weird. Whatever game I played before (and I about 50+ different racing games) on PS3, PS4 or PS5 - always cross means "Enter"...

    uhh... too tired for today... at least figured out buttons and now too tired to try racing...

    I have exactly the same problem here. It's absolutely game breaking for me, and above all unacceptable!! How did this game passed Sony Certification on first place?

    I have tried everything and still the same stupid symbols. I can't even navigate the menus, not even dare to customize anything.

    It's absolutely ridiculous!!!

    All I can suggest is - try to figure out, which button is "Escape" and which button is "Enter". It's not perfect solution, but at least after hours trial and error method I finally got buttons working like they should - handbrake in game is "circle", in menus "esc"... end cross on my wheel is at last "enter" in menus.

    My problem was, that I was able to see my wheel (T300RS) preset, but instead "confirm" loading, I pressed "esc" (cross on my controller). Very confusing.

    Very unacceptable you mean.

    This is Codemasters we're talking, they have doing this for years!! There's so reason for an official playstation wheel not to work on a AAA game in 2023.

    I got the same problem. What is  top left, green dot, red dot things. I don't  get it. I'm returning this game.
