Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Run the same stage repeatedly in a time trial.
What happens when the bug occurs? There are sections where the grip is obviously weaker. Once it is weaker, the grip in the same section will be weaker in the next time trial.
What do you expect to see? Even if you repeat time trials, the grip of the road surface should only change in some areas.

Some sections of the Central Europe and Japan stages became slippery. The car used was a builder car from WRC2. There was a similar bug when the game was released, and some of the asphalt was like ice at the time. I don't think it happened on the gravel stages.
