The cause of the AI getting randomly slow

Summarize your bug So, when doing an event in career mode everything is normal at first and the AI works fine. Although even at 100% the AI is too easy, definitely. But as soon as you exit the event/exit the game at all and resume at a later date, the AI difficulty bugs out. The first stage after entering the game again is still fine, but thereafter every stage for the remainder of the event the AI ist super slow and you easily win a stage by a margin of 3 minutes even if you yourself drive slow.
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Start an event, preferably in career mode. Complete at least one stage. Exit the game. Then resume the game and the event. The next stage will seem fine but thereafter the AI is suddenly super slow. If you complete an event in one session everything is fine.
What happens when the bug occurs? The AI opponents are super slow.
What do you expect to see? The AI being consistently fast. And also the 100% difficulty being more difficult in general.

I have problem on PC, career mode, difficulty level 82-90. Medium long race. for the first 3 stages Im on the possition 8, 16 etc. BUT on the last 1 or 2 stages I won with 2-minutes gap, I don't wanna win in this way. Something is very wrong, EA do something. Please let me know if someone have same problems???

I set the level to 80% in Monte Carlo, I rode the first stage and finished it in 3rd place with a loss of 5 seconds. Cool. I drove the second stage and unfortunately I finished it first with an advantage of 30 seconds over the second driver. I rode the second section in a similar style to the first. I still rode the remaining few sections with an advantage of 20-30 seconds. I think I was in 7th place in one episode. There is a big problem with the difficulty level, which kills realism in this game, and I abandoned my championship after the 11th stage in Monte Carlo because I gained a total of 3 minutes over the second driver. I increased the difficulty to 100% and it didn't change anything. And I'll add that I use a keyboard... Please, EA, improve the difficulty level in solo competitions in your own championships.

I hve the sam e Problem. Was close the first 2 stages in Sweden min Championship mode on level 80 and the ozher 7 stages I won by over 2 minutes average, This isn't fun because its way too easy

This difficulty issue is in every Game Mode by the way. I have it in Career Mode as well. First stages close, and others super easy.....
