CnCScripts.com scripts (Compatibility fixes for "17.4 update")

From what I can see the latest update to the game included a migration to a newer version of qooxdoo. (the JavaScript framework used by the game)

Unfortunately some scripts have been broken as the newer version of qooxdoo is not compatible with the old ways of doing certain things.

Scripts known to be affected: (Updates available @ http://cncscripts.com/)
  • TACS
  • Maelstrom Tools
  • Maelstrom ADDON Basescanner
  • Tunnel Info
  • New Resource Trade Window - (Fix thanks to Debitosphere and leo7044)
  • Supplies Mod - (Fix thanks to Debitosphere and leo7044)


Please note that the updates I have posted on http://cncscripts.com/ are just quick fixes to get them functioning again. There are some layout/UI issues that still need to be looked at.

  • I cannot transfer resources from one base to the other and I cannot also open the main menu icon today either. Each time I click on the transfer icon, it pops up error you must log back in and when I click on the main menu icon the same thing happens.

  • I maintain a modified script what does the new framework NOT support I will need to rework the scripts

  • POI Analyser is not working either. I've updated my script package with fixes for:
    Attack Range
    Tunnel Info
    Sector Hud
    BaseScanner
  • Supplies MOD was an easy fix... I'll PM the code change
  • What a fiasco!! How could this not be communicated with the CNC Community!?? "Hey guys, this new update will probably break everything youre using!" What in the world guys?! Get with the program, you are hurting your paying customers with an update that screws with everything they need. Now I have to spend hours working on how to get my stuff running again. Even with scripts off, Im crashing. Fun times. :(

  • We were given the announcement of the update to 17.4 as well as the public test server that has been running for a while with the changes... it's not EA's fault that the scripts break.

    Most of these scripts were written back in 2013 and the original authors (players like you and me) have retired from the game or for whatever reason have stopped the developement of their 3rd party userscripts.

    Every time an update becomes active I'm researching changes to the Framework/API so I can quickly patch these userscripts and I'm not alone with providing support for these scripts.

    I'd like to thank all the 3rd party developers of these scripts that without their expertise in coding them... this CNCTA would never have been the same.

    On Monday 12th June 17 I will be releasing a new userscript and it will be interesting to see how many will want to try it out.

  • It is the developers fault, how many years ago now did they promise to replace the functionality of most of the popular scripts with in game built in versions? All I hear now is the flushing sound generated as this game continues down the toilet. "If it doesn't bring in funds, don't bother" seems to be the mantra.
  • **** are you guys doing??!!! If there is no straight forward way to fix this you will lose me and I am a paying customer scripts or no scripts!!!! From the looks of it your so called updates are ruining everyone enjoyment of this game!!!!

  • I've been playing funded over 3 years.
    Since the update I cant do much, I cannot attack properly, sometimes when I launch a attack I can hear it but I cannot see it. I do get the end results of the attack, I cannot get any Rp so im slowly fading away
    and losing rank.
    My commanders have not noticed I am not able to attack yet, when they do i probably would be kicked or poi sitting
    There is no consistency as to what might slightly work.
    I haven't been able to upgrade any of my offense or defense, my crystal is maxed out.
    Whatever you changed destroyed my game. I have tried to go back to previous worlds and that didnt work.
    I need help or I need to find another game to play..
