I have been inactive for a couple of years and the server i am on seems dead i want to start over on an active server and do not know how to do that is there any way to do that?
Simply change server allows you to select a new server where you start over.
To get the feel for the new setup (forgotten attacks and malus/willingness) I suggest joining an existing world and wait before investing funds. There is a new world (of some kind) every 2-5 weeks, so one should come along soon.

When i log in and click change server the screen blinks and then returns me to the same screen with no change. Not allowing me to change from the server i am on.
Hmm - the usual advice first: Clear history, cache and cookies. Also, try a different browser - Firefox and Chrome are the most favoured, but others work too.
