Orca's not using their EPM

Orca EPM not working in Wraith 16 . Does anyone else have the same problem ? Once in a while I can see the sparking but not like it was --- a full second : now it's a flash, not enough to disable the guns.

There's a setting for animation on the options front page, check that hasn't been 'unchecked' at some point.
