PTE Reset November 21

Hey guys,

we will reset the PTE tomorrow, November 21 between 8:00 and 15:00 UTC. We may have to do it multiple times. We will test the configuration of the upcoming Firestorm 8 and also adjust the cheat sets.

Hopefully some cheats will be available if they hope we kill a fortress. Or it could be like the vet worlds with no fortress. We will have to wait and see.

Hey @covenantor,

that's a bit of a tricky question. If we tell in detail what's new people tend to only test the new stuff and that way we might miss other (unrelated) bugs. So normally we are a bit quiet about changes. maybe too quiet in the past. Once we're ready for the PTE update I will update that thread with some details.

the PTE is back. Regarding tests: gameplay in general.
It has the changes announced for Firestorm 8 as well as some cheats are enabled.

There were problems when they reset so hopefully they will sort them out and fix them and then announce a new restart.

Hey everyone,

yes we weren't happy with the cheat settings for the PTE. That's why we switched it off late yesterday afternoon. We will do a reset later today and reopen the world with normal settings and a limited cheat set.

Hi all. Personally, my opinion about the cheat codes. It is best to test to keep only 3 cheat code. The first is on CP, the second on recovery units and buildings (repairall) and the third on freedom of movement (cooldownnovement...). It is enough for comfortable testing of the system during a certain time of the game. It used to be and worked very well.
