its 7 hrs now since server went down ???

Wrath 7 is offline too. It went down 5 hours and 50 minutes ago.

Server maintenance does not start until Tuesday which is tomorrow and Wednesday.
If it stays offline through then, I will lose a lot.

I'd really like to know as well. EA chat tells me it's offline permanently and it cannot be recovered.

we had to do an unplanned maintenance due to a hardware problem on a database server. The details are over here: https://forums.ea.com/en/commandandconquer/discussion/177302/db-server-maintenance-on-november-27-update

It took longer than expected to carry out all the necessary work but all affected worlds are back online right now.

if it was a hardware failure of that scale, there's nothing that can be done except repair/replace the hardware and restore from most recent backup.

I'm just glad it wasn't all lost

Take comfort in the fact that all wasn't lost and the same delays occurred for everyone on the server.
