Change of POI

I have enjoyed the new poi and bonus settings on world Firestorm 9 but feel they could be even better with a few changes.

In an attempt to level the playing field on worlds a little more, I suggest the complete removal of all military related pois and replace them with additional resource related pois to be controlled. It could lead to some more interesting dynamics related to pvp.

Instead of all this morale and wildly unbalanced powers from AGN,UC,TUNG and RES pois, all combat would be based sheerly on unit types and sizes.

I am aware this idea seems radical, but might be worth testing on a future new world if not too difficult to implement. The way the game has gone in recent years, it seems like successful pvp campaigns are fewer and farther between, with lack of loot leading to lack of progress causing a general attitude of avoidance.

Interesting idea. I would imagine removing the resonators altogether while leaving everything else would make solid defense almost impossible to achieve, especially with substantial attack bonuses, so sudden PvP would make a lot more sense strategically.
That would make for a great pvp world....
Except I wouldn't want to participate in such a world because you can't win, can only lose, it becomes an endless money and time drain.
  • Yes, I think adding back in pvp loot would solve that problem, just change it to reasonable amounts without that bug where you could score huge amounts of stored resources from inactive/active players. Even it pvp loot was the same as forgotten loot for similar base sizes it would make things better than they are now.
