  • Tiberium 10. I've cleared cache' tried from 2 different computers, 3 browsers on each. I keep getting "The server at cncapp01.alliances.commandandconquer.com is taking too long to respond." Other worlds are working fine.

    You mean the general "I want..." position? Yes, most of the real world is familiar with that attitude, good luck with that.

    There is no compensation coming from EA as there is no scenario an asset would flow from EA to a player. If you are pay to play, you may qualify for coupons if you contact customer support as stated several times over the past few days. If you are a free to play player believing games magically run on their own with fairy dust, EA owes you nothing.

    Hello Commander,
    Before you try to access the worlds that do not load, can you hit F10-key to open up the Console logyour browser and then attempt to access hose worlds as usual? I'd like to know if there are any errors being logged.
    Also, please make sure to try with deactivated scripts first.

    Deactivated scripts, no change, hit F10 does nothing not in chrome neither in firefox

    am having the same problem with Tib 11, am being timed out once i hit the tib 11 button.

    now as this is a older world there is 1 last fort hit for players there, but i would like my timer on spent money for cp an rt bought reset for the time i have lost the use of this world. so far i have not been able to access the site since sat morning 14th july.

    the problems are still ongoing - there is no ETA yet on a fix. Clearing cache etc will not assist at this time as the problem is not on your computer but at the data centre.

  • regarding the problem that user unable to switch server,
    clearing cache , may allow us to be able to try connecting to different server.

    yea.. , it doesn't help in the current situation...

    Heya Gamerdruid, thx for being the punchingball for this incompetent EA People, but its everytime a problem which comes from EA and there will be everytime no Excuse or qualified answer, cause its equal for them if we can play or not, its only importent if we cant by funds, those problems will be fix most of the time in an hour or two... thats the reality... i hope my post won´t be delate, cause im only writing about the truth...

  • Well...I think I would clearly express an opinion of multiple customers on this thread the FIRST and FOREMOST that EA must do is to remove **** like Soixie and place them as far as humanly possible away from being able to communicate with complaining patrons. Not only this moron (Soixie) is not able to provide ANY value to solving the ongoing technical problem, he does much worse by irritating players with passive- aggressive resonse and smart **** rude comments.

    Fixing the technical problem of logging in would be nice, but I vote for removing Soixie from here permanently.
  • Going on 4 days of this outage. I am trying to access world 42, and still not working. You notified everyone that there would be outages in June, and I never saw any interruption. You notified us the week before last that there would an outage the following day, and again... I never saw any outage. NOW... you don't tell us that you're making changes and there is an outage. Who in the hell runs your IT department? For those that were affected we better be receiving some major reimbursement for that time. I dump a lot of money into this game, with the belief that it will be running. I have been playing now for years, and have never seen an outage of 4 DAYS!! This is absurd. If you want to reimburse me for all of the money I've used on this game that is fine and I will leave, if not fix the damn problem, compensate the players who have been impacted and start notifying paying customers when system outages should be expected. I am certain you have test environments to try changes on before you impact the end-user, do you even bother testing before you make changes? Fix the problem, or hire people that are a bit more competent. If I managed my production environment like you guys do, I would have lost my job years ago. Sure... problems occur... but there is nothing that should have taken 4 days to resolve. Hell.. you could have rolled back the changes by now.

  • Greetings to all. I do understand EA is having issues with their servers and would like to bounce this post to everyone to compare notes.
    1. IS any one able to log into Tiberium12? If so can you tell me your bourse and Operating System.
    2. When I log into Origin via web, I get allocated to my correct world now but I can't load the world, after 30 seconds the screen flashes, like a reload and sits there waiting for a command.
    3. when I use Origin to login, I now get loaded into the right world launcher but when I press "play now" I get the time out.


    I hope someone else is having better luck than myself.

    Since many worlds are affected, it seems this may be an issue around preparing for the change but hey, EA has been doing this for a while now so you think they may know what they are doing.

    Yes, your emergency contingency plans MUST be activated by now. Can't you roll back to an older version? (Probably where we are now)

    I just can't understand why the ping to the EA servers have gone way up. Almost like a denial of attack issue. You may need to review your firewall rules :)

    In any case, I am holding thumbs. I think Tiberium Alliances is the best game ever and I would love continue playing.

    Here's me holding thumbs for EA. Get those servers up and synched.

    I think you can safely assume that if you can't get in then most of the rest of the world can't get in at this time. As for rolling back etc, I don't know if that is even technically possible with their system

  • It's been four days since the fall of the servers and the team in charge of solving the problem has managed to put on foot most of the worlds that I play daily.

    Still, I see that there is still one that there is no way to implement so I would like to send my support and encouragement so that, with their effort and work, they will soon get all the worlds back in perfect working order.

    I think some of the worlds, ( including mine ), are not back online yet is because they don't work on weekends.
  • We were supposed to destroy Tib 10 today. The server claims to be online but cannot be accessed. Seems some other servers are marked offline correctly. Is this the behaviour everyone else is seeing? i.e. the server claims to be online but times out when accessed? The server being offline also means teammates cannot be contacted to reschedule the attack

  • This is now has gone entirely beyond bad customer support, this issue should be fully qualified now as FRAUD and the State Attorney General as well as Justice department should be looking in to business practices of Electronic Arts. The company (EA) is entirely in the breach of contract with its customers, it took the money from people and not only failed to provide the services people paid for abut also deliberately NOT informing the customers and NOT even trying to update on the status of the issue.

    I am an IT person, I ran and manage business critical applications for a 500 Fortune company and I can state with 1000% certainty that ANY similar failure in the data center or IT operations could have been fixed by now with a a normal Disaster Recovery and Rollback procedures (assuming one were even ever in place).

    This EA must be penalized and sued for such practices and I will make sure that proper US authorities and regulators are notified.
