World 6 - Anyone still active here?

I thought to see if my account from 7 years ago is still around and, yes, there it was. The bases were destroyed and it did take me a while to figure out how to play the game again, but I'm growing to like this game again.

Now, I don't want to start in a new server. I am happy to try my hand against PvE and don't want to attack player bases if I don't need to.

I was wondering if someone in any of the top 4 alliances can throw me an invite? I was a former member/officer of Cheng Guan. If someone can throw me a lifeline, that'll be much appreciated. IGN is 7ev3n-Ed.

I think the best place to find out if anyone is actively playing or recruiting is not in this forum, but within the world. I don't have an account on World 6, but you can see which players have logged on in the last 2yrs by looking at the ranking.

Also in the ranking you can see the alliances that are active. The alliance member list will show inactive players are ranked 0 and the alliance with only a few of those, but a lot of members is likely to be active. Also, look at the hubs. The alliance that holds the hubs is likely to be an active one.

I can only say 'likely' as on many older worlds that I have accounts it is the case, on world 6 it may not be the case.

Try the recruiting forum in game, I'm not in W6 either from an active standpoint but I love it when good players surface in old worlds and begin to rediscover the game.

    Best of luck, have fun!

The in-game forum doesn't work any more, thus why I posted here.

Thanks for the tip to find active players. I've messaged a couple of people to see if I can be let into their alliance.

Really? Why may I ask, what is it doing like it just won't open? I'm in the oldest public server that exists and the recruiting forum still works fine.

Posting here is fine you are just MUCH less likely to get a hit here as there. The other thing you might do is PM the CiC's of the active servers in there and see if anyone has room.

The way I read that was that no-one was monitoring it and recruitment via the in-game world forum is not worth the effort as it doesn't 'work' in the sense of no-one is responding. But I could be wrong!

I did not take it to mean it was broken as in 'a bug exists' and 'a technical error' occurs.

That would be a world by world thing, I can assure you even in my oldest servers, 7+ years I still monitor the recruitment forums.

Would be worth a try if you have not done so already even if you think it is dead.

For some odd reason, when I first logged in, I couldn't post anything. Having checked again, it looks like I can. So, post has been made in the in-game forum as well!

World chat is also a possibility. Short term yes, but it might help in your case.

Nope still nothing. No one has read my thread nor responded to my random messages in world chat.

All good. I'm slowly destroying Forgotten lvl 38-40 bases to get myself to some POIs so I've got some easy income (tib and crystals).

When I left the game, I had two bases with lvl 38 armies. The others had lvl 35 or so armies. The lower levelled bases were purely $$$ producers.
  • if you are only level 38 on an old world, you would probably get to a considerably higher level much faster if you were to start a new world with the new economy
