Repair Time Takes Too Long

Better Game Play will result in Cutting repair time build up in half. I enjoy this game but with a busy schedule the repair time is ridiculously long. It would be so much better if the game was faster. Thanks for your consideration of this.

    can you imagine, they already reduced rt so much that your constraint should be cp, not rt
    if you run out of rt faster than you run out of cp, then you clearly need to simulate more before hitting, or upgrade repair buildings
    in the past, it used to be 3 times longer than now, at level 30 offense your rt per hit was 6 hours, so you would kill 1 forgotten base a day, if you sim well
    at fortress each hit used to be around 18-20 hours rt per hit

    Upgrading of repair buildings REDUCES the repair time needed not increase it. An yes, you have a repair building higher than the command centre to reduce repair time.

    What happens, if the defense center is destroyed? Will the base still be protected?

    Yes, the repair efficiency can only increase the higher the buildings are upgraded. If you want to compare repair costs of any unit at any given level for any given level of the repair building associated, check out the Arsenal in the Info box in the lower right.

    Yes, defenses will be repaired if the Defense Center is destroyed. The Def Center sets the maximum upgrade level, and the budget for defense units.
    The Def Facility takes care of repairs, so if that structure is damaged or destroyed, the amount instant repair after combat is reduced. You can find more information ion buildings effects when you click on them.

  • Hello Developers - all of my 31 bases were destroyed a few days ago - i still have another 10 days to wait on my 65 rated bases to be repaired. This seems a very long time, can it be reduced?

    Unfortunately, assuming everything is at level 65 you've found a limitation of the system. It's not possible to reduce the repair time directly. Many wait a long time before re-spawning and as a player with bases at level 65 I don't need to advise you on the various techniques to shorten this during a war.

  • Hi there, just another point about the base repair time - this time is not reducing on my 65 rated bases, i have screenshots from five days ago with a repair time of 9 days and some hours and minutes, this is still the same now, any thoughts?

  • Hello again, an update, none of my bases have reduced their repair time. I took advantage of the move all bases feature - a chap was wiping me out, and it looks like that my repair time has frozen since then - john
  • Hello commander,

    do you know what the preview stated what the your cooldown would be before you moved all the bases?
    If a base was moved manually and is still recovering from the move it can be relocated into another sector with the move-all. However, both recovery durations will add up. I think this explains why your timer has not reduced.

    I only used the move-all feature - i did not move any bases manually prior to that. As I was saying, the repair time on the construction yards has not reduced since I moved them all on the 26th January. Is this the end of the road for me?

    If your bases were killed (again) before fully being repaired then the time would be cumulative - adding on a full repair to the time still remaining.

  • Thanks for that Gamerdruid - i will let you know if anything changes in the next week or so. I have to say, I have low confidence on a good outcome, but, let's see.

    In a week the numbers should change at least - store locally a screen shot copy of the time showing for your top 3 bases. If they don't get killed in the next week, then the time should change - store locally a similar screenshot for the top 3 bases, showing this lack of change (or actual change). (Click on the Repair Icon and screenshot the display you get.)

    Once you've got the 6 screen shots then it is likely to be easier to track down what is happening. Try repairing only your offense buildings and command centre plus your defence buildings as you go during the week.
