Connection problems from South America

Hi

An alliance partner that connects from South America (Chile) has several days of connection problems.
Each time you enter Mundo 8 España, the connection speed is zero or one fps. https://prnt.sc/o9phrz - http://prntscr.com/oanyif
Do you know if there is a problem?

    Is this still happening?

    I find that 0fps-20fps is usually due to something local - either a local connection issue or something like a background app running (such as an AV scan) or running with too many windows open on the game.

    That indicates the problem lies not with EA or the game, but with the network routing to the servers. There is little, probably nothing, that EA or the game developers can do about the bad connections.

    The only thing I can offer is the suggestion they try a free VPN to see if that helps. This will force the routing out from their ISP locally into a different route to the servers (if I understand these things correctly) and may result in a workable connection. Once it is established that this re-routing works (if it does) then either challenging the ISP or buying into a paid VPN system may become worthwhile.

    From home he played normally.
